You can try some basic techniques to keep your machine cool such as provide air ventilation within the CPU, there should be enough fans which circulate the air properly. The place where the machine has been kept should be dust free, dust settles down on fans, heat sinks and other places which affects the cooling of equipments. For laptops care should always be taken to have enough ventilation at the base of laptop, laptops should not be used on places such as beds and other such places where the ventilation is less or does not exist.
